See that link up there ? One of the most glorious days of my life . I swear . All that hard work had finally paid off . Let me tell you how the day went :)
About 7.45am , the girls started on their make up and what not . Fixing their hair . Endless screams for mascara , blushers , lipgloss , face powder and other girly stuff . Teacher putting on light purple eye shadow for all the girls , and also doing their hair for em' . As for the guys , the were watching us girls and making fun while stuffing their faces with three-layered sandwiches made by our teachers .By around 8.30am , we were rushed up into the hall for a last minute run through . It was already 9.30am and we were definitely late . We got there around 10.30am . We were still numbers away from our turn . So we sat down in our reserved places , and chatted with some of the Sevens that were sitting behind us . The only ones I knew were Ira and Puvaan . I was surprised to see Puvaan . The other choir teams were really good . Some were quite soft .
When it was our turn , I was starting to feel the rush . So was the rest of the choir . Hands were shivering , sweat was rolling down foreheads , gosh it was scary .Then , it was finally our turn after SAAS walked off stage . The songs went well . But no one was ever satisfied . Screams of fear were let out . We sat down and talked . Everyone said it was pretty much quite okay . What was done , was done . The announcer informed the hall to come back after half an hour for the results . Everyone left the hall and headed over the the canteen to search for food . And dare I say , Seafields canteen was the bomb . One of the best I have ever seen in my life . they had Murtabak , Roti Canai , Waffles , Ice cream and more amazing and delicious food . It was like heaven .
Around 12.45pm , the event started once again and it was time for the reveal . Suspense was taking over the room . The first award went to Best Conductor won by their very own Seafield conductor . So , as for the winners for the competition , they made everyone go crazy by play the trumpet sound and everyone was screaming of anxiousness . Finally they got to the point . Third place goes to.... SMK USJ 4 . The Niners were all like , ' No , theres no way we can win now . ' Second place.... SMK SEAFIELD . We were all like ' WHAT . The person who got first place must have been really good to beat the all time winner Seafield . ' And we started packing . Until.....FIRST PLACE GOES TO SMK SEKSYEN 9 SHAH ALAM . Niners were all jumping for joy , practically crying . All the hard work definitely paid off . Getting sick and all that , was all worth . Till today , we all feel so blessed .
Who could have imagined ? Nothing is impossible when you have dedication .
